And still they lose on timing: They hire strategists and specialist tools to monitor trends and produce thought leadership that arrives 6–12 months too late. Then they end up competing for already saturated keywords.

Backed by Research + Agency Experience
plinio® TL scans hundreds of public sources daily: Tier-1 consulting insights, market signals and business-related social data, to spot the narratives forming before they peak: Predictive Topic Intelligence.
Does plinio® TL identify relevant topics before they reach the mainstream?
A retrospective blind test reconstructed six historical information snapshots. plinioTL produced recommendations using only what was knowable at each cutoff — then every topic was checked against what actually happened in the following twelve months.
Strict overall hit rate
Hit rate under practical scoring
Topic recommendations
Median lead before peak coverage
Nine months before the peak
For topics that materialized, plinio® TL’s recommendation preceded the peak of international press coverage by a median of at least nine months. More than a quarter were still gaining coverage when the twelve-month observation window ended — so their actual lead exceeds a year.
had a lead of six months or more
Why a 44% hit rate is strong
Topic selection is not a fifty-fifty bet. The right comparison is how often a plausible topic materializes without plinio® TL’s selection. From the same sources, that base rate was 26% strict and 31% under practical scoring. plinio® TL reached 44% and 56% — advantages of 18 and 25 percentage points.
44% vs. 26%
Strict rule
56% vs. 31%
Practical scoring
The economics are asymmetric: an early hit creates a multi-month window to own the narrative, while a miss remains a credible, well-researched article. Hit rate and lead time therefore belong together — the head start matters more than coin-toss accuracy.
Sensitivity check
The primary 44% result keeps a strict pre-defined veto: any sharply declining measure disqualifies a topic even when the other two grew. Without that veto, the rate rises to 56%. The stricter figure remains primary because the rule was fixed before evaluation.
Examples of early calls
Four non-obvious recommendations that were absent from public regulatory calendars at the cutoff — and the head start each delivered before broad coverage.

AI vishing and voice-synthesis fraud as a banking threat vector
Flagged while voice-clone fraud was still a security-research curiosity — before deepfake authentication attacks became a board-level concern for retail banks.

Recommended Q4 2024 · pre-agenda topic
Quantum Monte Carlo for financial stress testing
A quant-research method far from any risk-committee agenda at the cutoff; institutional discussion of quantum methods in risk modelling emerged later.

Recommended Q1 2025 · read off the Stripe–Bridge signal
Stablecoin integration in corporate banking
Identified when stablecoins were still framed as a retail-crypto sideshow rather than corporate-treasury infrastructure — ahead of the wave of bank initiatives.

Payment-system governance and insider access risk
Framed privileged-access exposure in payment rails as a structural governance theme while it was still treated as an isolated incident.

Measurement
Recommendation date = cutoff quarter; head start is measured to the smoothed peak of international news coverage (28-day rolling mean). For the two newest topics, the twelve-month window may still be open, so the lead is a lower bound. Automated public-data measurement may contain errors; individual series are available on request.
A blind test, not a hindsight exercise
At each of six quarterly cutoff dates, plinio® TL saw only documents published before that date. Roughly 25 evidence-backed recommendations were issued per cutoff. Twelve months later, each topic was measured across search interest, international press and professional-community activity. A topic counted only when at least two independent measures grew.
No cherry-picking: all 152 recommendations are included — failures included.

FAQ
Most common questions are answered below. If you have further questions or requests, please reach out.
What is a “Market” in plinio TL?
A market is one defined audience context — typically a country/region and language set, with its own competitive landscape and narratives. Markets help keep signals, topics, and angles relevant to the reality your buyers live in. That's why each market is treated separately in plinio TL.
What’s a “Discovery”?
A Discovery is a signal-backed insight cluster plinio TL can turn into clear narratives based on your specific business.
How do “Articles” relate to hub-and-spoke content?
Articles are your publishable pieces. Depending on your plan, they can be used for hubs, spokes, and multi-channel variants (LinkedIn, long-form, short-form). Hub-and-spoke itself is unlocked on Enterprise plans (manual or automated, depending on tier).
Do you replace our team’s thought leadership?
No. plinio TL helps your team move faster and earlier with better inputs and a repeatable system — but you stay in control. You decide the narratives, approve the angles, and edit the output if desired.
Does plinio TL adhere to our brand voice/tonality?
Yes! You can steer tone and terminology through both editing and guidance and your RAG documents. plinio’s Memory Bank learns from your edits over time, helping future drafts match your voice more closely.
Are outputs grounded in credible sources?
Yes! plinio TL can ground drafts using your knowledge base (RAG) and signal sources, so content is not “generic AI text” but real "valuable content" that search engines love – tied to real context and evidence. plinio TL also features an edit history where you can track changes your team has made to the output.
Where is Plinio hosted? Is it compliant?
Compliance was plinio TL's DNA from day one. It is fully hosted on EU servers. We’re built for B2B needs around privacy, governance, and controlled workflows. For regulated industries, we offer sovereign/self-hosted options.
Do you offer a self-hosted or EU-sovereign deployment?
Yes. For regulated environments, plinio can be deployed with EU-based Kubernetes hosting and controlled model routing (including EU-only LLM options where required) and custom compliance requirements.
Can we control which AI models are used?
In standard cloud plans, plinio uses a curated model setup. For sovereign/self-hosted deployments, model routing can be tailored (including bringing your own approved model endpoint, depending on requirements).
How do you measure impact (SEO & GEO)?
plinio supports SEO and GEO tracking to monitor visibility and performance over time. You can also publish with trackable URL parameters (UTMs) to connect content to downstream engagement in your analytics stack.
What does “human-in-the-loop” mean in practice?
You review, edit, and approve before anything goes live. plinio TL accelerates research and drafting — it doesn’t publish unchecked content on your behalf.
Is there an SME plan?
If you’re a smaller team and the standard plans don’t fit your volume or budget, reach out. We can recommend a lightweight starting configuration based on your market and cadence.
Who's behind plinio TL?
Plinio TL is built by Bureau Wehrmann — a B2B strategy and design studio led by Dennis Wehrmann (Germany), working with an agile team. We’ve spent decades helping B2B brands communicate complex topics with clarity and authority, and Plinio TL is the productization of that playbook: signal-led research, narrative framing, and a repeatable publishing system.
